Sydney, Australia – November 2025
What a week it’s been for Milspec Services at INDO PACIFIC 2025! The team has just wrapped up an incredibly successful few days at one of the biggest events in the defence and maritime sectors, held in Sydney.
The exhibition brought together some of the biggest names in defence, maritime, and tech, creating the perfect chance to network, collaborate, and explore new opportunities. For Milspec Services, it was a chance to catch up with existing clients, meet new potential customers, and form some exciting new connections with suppliers.
Spotlight on Queensland’s Defence Industry
This year, Milspec was proud to be part of the Queensland Government stand, a hub that showcased all the amazing things happening in the state’s defence sector. The team really appreciated the warm welcome and support from the Queensland Government reps, who made it easy to showcase local innovation and talent to a wider audience.
“The Queensland Government made sure everything ran smoothly for us,” said a Milspec spokesperson. “We’re proud to represent Queensland’s defence industry, and the support we got from them made all the difference.”
Networking and New Insights
The week kicked off with a networking breakfast hosted by Defence Jobs Queensland, giving the team a chance to connect with industry peers, government folks, and other key players in the sector. It was a great opportunity to share ideas, get new perspectives, and lay the groundwork for future projects.
Another highlight was the briefing from the Royal Australian Navy, where the team got a sneak peek into what’s coming down the line in terms of future projects and opportunities in the maritime space. It was an informative session that gave Milspec some real insights into where the industry is heading.
Looking Ahead to New Opportunities
By the end of the week, Milspec Services was buzzing with excitement over the new connections and opportunities that came from the event. The team is now looking forward to building on these relationships and continuing to provide top-notch support and innovative solutions to defence and maritime customers all over the world.
“INDO PACIFIC 2025 has been a fantastic experience for us,” Business Developer Manager Chris Merten. “We’re excited to keep building on the relationships we’ve formed and to see where these new opportunities take us.”
With a successful week behind them, Milspec is pumped to continue pushing the boundaries of what Queensland’s defence industry can achieve and stay at the cutting edge of maritime innovation.
