On Sunday 7th July, Milspec Services was proud to support this year’s Circus Quirkus event, hosted by the Broadwater Southport Rotary Club at SOPO in Southport.
The day was a huge success, with two packed-out shows bringing laughter and excitement to hundreds of local children and their families. Many of these kids come from disadvantaged backgrounds or live with additional needs, and seeing their faces light up during the performance was something truly special.
More than 80 community groups—including disability services, special education units, and local charities—were invited to enjoy the experience. Events like this offer more than just entertainment: they create joy, connection, and lasting memories that really matter.
It’s also wonderful to know that proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation, helping to fund specialised medical equipment for the Children’s Critical Care Unit.
We’re proud to have played a small part in something that brings so much value to the community.
A heartfelt thank you to the Broadwater Southport Rotary Club for the incredible effort that goes into organising this event each year. It’s a powerful reminder of what’s possible when local businesses and community groups come together.
We’ve included a few photos below to share a glimpse of the day. It was a pleasure to be involved — and we’re already looking forward to next year!
